Launched in 2012, the National Youth Basketball League (NYBL) was the first-ever national middle school circuit, creating a groundbreaking platform that forever changed grassroots basketball. The NYBL provided a one-of-a-kind stage for future stars, many of whom went on to become elite high school, college, and professional players.
In 2026, the NYBL officially returns with the National Cup Series. This reimagined circuit will feature regional sessions across the country, culminating in the prestigious NYBL Cup National Championship.
Format & Requirements:
Open to 6th–8th grade teams (Classes of 2030–2032)
Teams must participate in at least one regional session to receive an invite to the National Championship
Regional sessions will showcase the nation’s top talent, with the ultimate goal of qualifying for the NYBL Cup Finals
