We would like to congratulate (2023) Alex Doyle of DME Academy / Showtime Ballers on his commitment to Stetson University (D1) today. 

Standing close to (6’10), Doyle has the ability to really stretch the court with his superb jump-shot. He made the pledge to Stetson today over several other Division 1 suitors, including: UMBC, Alabama A&M, & New Mexico State. 

This past May, Alex participated in our Memorial Day #ExclusiveRuns Tournament with the Showtime Ballers 2023 team. Let’s take a look at what our scouts had to say:

“Alex Doyle (2023) of the Showtime Ballers 17U came into the event with a ton of hype. He holds offers / interest from the likes of several MM+ / HM schools. Often times when a certain level of anticipation is present, it’s easy for someone to not live up to the hype. Doyle, however, wasted little time eliminating any doubt that one could have about his ability to play the game at the highest level.

Standing at (6’9”) he drained three pointer after three pointer. He has a quick release to his shot, and is always working and angling to get his shot off. I was impressed with the confidence he has in his shot. He was great in screen & pop situations. He also showed he can create some off the bounce as well. As he continues to add weight to his frame the sky is the limit.

He currently attends DME Academy in Daytona Beach, FL. He currently hold offers / interest from Alabama A&M, Cincinatti, St Johns, and Clemson. He averaged better than 17ppg this past the weekend at the #ExclusiveRuns. You can follow him on twitter: @alex_doyle25”
