(2023) Ahmere Carson of Anderson High School (IN) had a really strong showing down at our Peach State Summer Showcase back in July. He made the trip down to Augusta, Ga with Chi-town Bulldogs – a very talented and well coached program with multiple NCAA level (D1/D2) prospects. He was selected and highlighted as a First Team All Tournament member as well. 

Carson has a strong frame, which helps him on the defensive end and also allows him to hold his line while attacking the basket. He is looking to attack and be aggressive as much as possible. Carson has elite ball-handling skills, which provides him the angles and the step he needs to get past defenders. To say he is “SHIFTY” would be an understatement!

Ahmere has the ability to shoot the ball with consistency as well. He can create and get to his spots almost anytime he wants. He showed it was more than just about him however, as a lead guard he made several key “on-time” passes to open teammates. He currently holds two Division 1 offers (South Carolina State & Milwaukee).
